The tragic and mysterious story of Margaret Morgan and her children started in Harford County. It began with the kidnapping of Margaret Morgan and her children from Pennsylvania. Free Americans or property owned by a Harford County family? Fighting for Freedom examines this powerful drama through the eyes of Margaret Morgan, her family and the residents of pre-Civil War Harford County. Join historians Iris Lee Barnes and Jacob M. Bensen as they explore this pivotal case, one fraught with intrigue, lies, betrayals and mystery.
