Epidemic diseases have been with humans about as long as we have had organized societies. A century ago, Spanish flu swept across the world and killed 50 million people. We don’t just die from epidemic diseases; we live through them. We try to prevent them, care for those who fall ill from them and face difficult decisions that arise from them. This exhibit explores that wide-ranging experience. Open-house-style event. Curator walk with Julie Mancine 2pm & 4 pm. Free & open to the public. Reservation not necessary.
