Presented by James Karmel, Professor of History and Director for the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at HCC Had the “entangling alliances” that Thomas Jefferson warned Americans against been the cause of World War I? Could international organizations like the League of Nations be a remedy, or would they make matters worse? After a little preparation on the topic – remember to prepare both positions! – join us for a friendly historical debate. Spectators welcome! Free & open to the public. Limited seating.
