Event Information:

Presented by Colleen Webster, Professor of Literature at Harford Community College Colleen. Webster presents a one-woman show about the scientist and author who ignited the modern environmental movement. This performance highlights Rachel Carson’s research, personal life and legacy, which we still enjoy today along the Chesapeake Bay. Colleen is an active field trip member of the Harford Chapter of the Maryland Ornithological Society, and teaches and leads workshops, retreats and conferences for various humanities, environmental and charitable organizations. A speaker for the Maryland Humanities Council, she has developed and performs several one-woman shows in addition to publishing over 70 poems and essays in a variety of journals.
