Event Information:

Presented by Tamara Biegas, Assistant Professor of Geography at HCC The conclusion of World War I saw the redrawing of many national borders; the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the packing together of the Balkans into Yugoslavia, and the re-emergence of Poland, to name a few. How well did the borders that were drawn represent divisions among people based on language or religion? Are heritage and identity based on more than that? Free & open to the public. Limited seating. Reservation strongly recommended. Reservations and questions: or (443) 412-2539 Schedule updates - Campus map -
