Youth CPR AED First Aid Class

Event Information:

This class is a must for any youth that babysits, is consider babysitting, plays sports, has young siblings or has a swimming pool. The class is designed for youth ages 11-16. It will teach them how to recognize an emergency, activate the emergency response system, perform CPR and use an AED on adults, children and infants and what to do in a choking situation, for all ages. It will also cover over 20 medical and health emergencies such as cuts, burns, breaks, Epi-Pen usage and asthma emergencies. This is a fun and very interactive class. We are up and hands-on most of the day which allows the kids to relax and have fun while learning the valuable skill of how to save a life. Each student will receive an American Heart Saver CPR AED First Aid completion card that is good for 2 years. They will be certified to provide life saving measures to any age victim. The instructor who teaches this class is Kelly Young, RRT. Kelly runs the CPR AED and First Aid classes for summer camp at The Community College of Baltimore County. Please pack your student a lunch to bring to class. Registration Required.
